Sorry I haven't updated my blog recently, I just don't have much to update everyone on. I am loving my job. I received a promotion back in August from my company, to do therapy with children in their home, however the job was in Greensboro. So I commuted for a month before I was able to move to Greensboro. It was perfect timing too because Meredith(sister in law) was offered a job in October at a preschool at one of the churches here in town, but didn't have anyone to look after Hannah while at work Tuesday/thursday mornings. Hannah only goes to preschool 3 days a week. Since my job is flexible and my days don't usually start until kids get out of school around 3:30 I'm able to help out on Tuesdays and spend some quality time with my niece. So weird to think that she was almost 2 the first time I met her and now I get to see her weekly! I'm still struggling to make friends, because I'm not interested in pottery or go to church so I can't join a group or meet people at church. I'm friendly with my co workers, but they all lie an hour away and want to get home after work, and it's harder than you would think to make friends at the gym.
My mom came last week to visit, it was so nice to get to hang out with her and she was able to see my place, work, meet my co workers. It's always so nice when she visits, but so hard to say goodbye at the end. We went to several new places to eat and visit, such as Old Salem, which is still set as it was back in the early 1800s ( well they have added electricity for practical purposes). It was a nice visit and it will be nicer when we live on the same side of the country again. If you go on Facebook you can see all the pictures, I will try and add them to my Picasa soon.
