2 months

I've officially lived in North Carolina and am still loving it. Everyone is so friendly, wonderful. I have found a Arabian/Morgan stable 5 minutes from my place and have started teaching lessons and in return I am receiving lessons. I miss riding and being around horses, so it's so nice to be able to be back around it on a constant basis. I spent the 4th of July in the mountains of NC, in Asheville, with Lindsay (Brian's sister), her husband, David, and David's family. I had a wonderful time exploring Asheville with her and getting to know her. We wandered around downtown Asheville and then toured the Biltmore House, which is the largest house in America. It was a nice weekend, that ended with an excellent firework show. I also was able to spent the day with Hailee for her 5th birthday. It's so crazy that I now live close enough to help celebrate these special occasions, I don't have to only get to see them in pictures. Not too much is new in life, I'm just still adjusting to NC living and trying to figure out how to make friends. I am going to the gym on a regular basis, and taking classes (hoping to meet some people there). I've had a few people that I've switched numbers with, either meeting up at my complex pool or the dog park, but nothing more has come from it except a few text massages back and forth. So the hunt to make friends continues, but hopefully I will soon be able to say I have at least one!

Bye for now <3
